• Meet Melinda…

    Growing up on the Minnesota prairie – the youngest of six raised on public television, AM radio, and Garrison Keillor – Melinda spent her early and college years with her head in books and camera in hand.

    She earned her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Minnesota, launching her writing career in food journalism and photography before spending over a decade at Amazon in product marketing and development. There was no shortage of writing at Amazon, and she honed her skills within Amazon’s famed “working backwards” writing process to solve customer problems.

    Now back to her first love, she writes creatively part-time from her home in the Pacific Northwest where she is raising her family. She is working on her first mystery novel and runs a knitting channel on YouTube.
